Actualidad blanquiverde. Córdoba CF has undergone a deep transformation of its squad during the summer of 2026. The arrival of 14 signings for the new project of Iván Ania has been accompanied by 17 departures, between contract endings, terminations of loan deals, transfers and players who are still looking for a new destination. Most have already resolved their future. Some will continue in the Liga Hypermotion, others have taken the leap to First Division and three have opted to continue their careers outside of Spain. Even one case, that of Sergi Guardiola, has decided to put an end to his professional career.
Jacobo, Obolskii, Marín, Fuentes and Vilarrasa stay in Segunda
One of the first to resolve his future was Jacobo González. After finalizing his contract with Córdoba, the Madrid-born striker signed with Real Oviedo until June 2028, maintaining his presence in the Liga Hypermotion. Also staying in Segunda is Nikolai Obolskii. The Russian forward has signed with Sabadell until 2028, where he will seek to regain the prominence he lost during his last campaign at El Arcángel. Joining them is Carlos Marín, one of the most experienced players in recent years as a blanquiverde. The goalkeeper ended five seasons in Córdoba to leave for Albacete, with whom he has committed until 2028. The last to change teams was Ignasi Vilarrasa. The left-back, who arrived at Córdoba in 2025 after his stint at Huesca, has been transferred to Burgos CF. Fate has wanted his debut in the league to take place precisely against his former team.
Dani Requena takes the leap to Primera
Dani Requena will play in Primera Division. His loan deal in Córdoba ended in June and he returned to Villarreal, the owner of his rights. The Castellón-based club subsequently decided to reloan the midfielder, this time to Levante, where he will compete in the 2026-27 season in the top category of Spanish football.
Portugal and Croatia, international destinations
Three players who wore blanquiverde last season have opted to continue outside of Spain. Juan María Alcedo, who ended his contract with Córdoba, has signed with Torreense, a second-tier Portuguese club. This Lusitanian team has secured a spot in the Europa League this season, giving the left-back the option to compete in Europe. Particularly curious is the situation of Alberto del Moral and Dalisson de Almeida, who have ended up together at Hajduk Split. Del Moral returned to Real Oviedo after ending his loan deal, rescinded his link with the Asturian club and signed until 2028 with the historic Croatian club. Dalisson, on the other hand, continues to belong to Córdoba CF and will play on loan during the season.
Currently, Ilyas Chaira is injured and cannot participate in Real Oviedo's training sessions. The club is working to recover him as soon as possible and have him return to the pitch in the next match.
