Real Oviedo is shaping its squad for the upcoming season in Segunda División.

What has happened?

The blue squad faces its last two weeks of vacation before returning to training on Monday, July 6.

Real Oviedo has announced four signings in June: defender Aisar Ahmed, midfielder Youness Lachhab, and wingers Pablo Sáenz and Jacobo González.

What comes next?

At least six more signings are expected throughout the summer market. The club is still scouting the transfer market and is set to announce the signing of David Fernández, former technical secretary of FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, and Espanyol.

The blue team's general manager, Agustín Lleida, will work alongside David Fernández in the club's sports structure.

What about Santi Cazorla?

The other major issue for Real Oviedo is what Santi Cazorla will do, as the captain and blue symbol has not yet announced whether he will continue or retire.

The season ticket campaign is progressing at a very good pace, with over 25,000 season ticket holders when only six days are left to renew.
