The negotiation has not stopped advancing: Independiente, in need of income to balance its accounts, claims around $6 million for the transfer of the central defender, but Pachuca is fighting to lower those demands. The operation, however, is still not simple. Lomónaco, 24 years old, remains linked to Independiente until the end of 2028, a contract that gives the Argentine club enough to not sell one of its most valuable assets. Transfermarkt values his market value at €8 million, a figure that gives an idea of the magnitude of the economic effort that Real Oviedo must make to complete the signing successfully.
