Real Oviedo and Sporting de Gijón have reached an agreement on away ticket allocation for both Asturian derbies this season. The deal secures 675 tickets at a reduced price of 25 euros for each club's travelling supporters in the opposing stadium.
The first clash is set for Sunday, 27 September at 21:00 at the Carlos Tartiere stadium. There, Sporting fans will have access to that fixed-price ticket block. O. N. Outlined the terms: "El Sporting dispondrá de 675 entradas, a un precio de 25 euros cada una, para sus aficionados en el derbi asturiano ante el Oviedo".
The same conditions will apply for the return fixture, scheduled for April 2027 at El Molinón-Enrique Castro Quini. On that occasion, it will be Real Oviedo supporters who have access to the 675 tickets priced at 25 euros. The Gijón-based club will communicate the application process this week.
This agreement comes during a positive spell for Luis Carrión's side. Real Oviedo sit seventh in the Segunda División with 8 points, following a start to the league campaign of two wins, two draws and one defeat. Their last outing was a convincing 0-3 win at Valladolid, with goals from Carlos Domínguez, Dani Calvo and Pablo Sáenz.
The team now faces a trip to Sabadell this weekend, an opponent currently in 11th place. The Blues will look to pick up more points ahead of the big derby date. Supporters can check the full season schedule on our fixtures page and the first-team squad status on squad.
With this pact, both clubs aim to make it easier for fans to attend one of Spanish football's most traditional rivalries. The September Asturian derby promises a full house at the Tartiere.
